When the going gets steep, just pull up this heel lifter, and your foot will remain flat even when you're walking straight up a steep incline. Keeping your feet flat also reduces the stress on your calves, so you can travel further. Available tail attachments increase flotation in deep snow. The MSR Denali Evo Ascent snowshoe has a powder coated steel crampon which sheds the stickiest snow and bites into hardpack with ease.
